NOTHING SO STRANGE

THE FILMDVDCLIPSPRESSSEE ITFILMMAKERSLINKSDIARY
DVD Preview - January 17, 2004

The DVD is coming! When? I dunno. Soon. Ish. They're working it out. (UPDATE: Release date February 11, 2004.)But the master has gone to the replicator, and they're cranking out copies as I write this.

For now, here's a screenshot from the main motion menu of the DVD:

And here are two downloads. The first is a QuickTime movie of the main menu. It doesn't exactly make for a riveting movie-watching experience, because, well, it's just a motion menu. But it'll give you a taste of what the "Nothing So Strange" DVD is like. And it's free, so stop complaining.

The second download at no cost to you is some music from the DVD. Composer Mary Rosh, using her movie score as a jumping-off point, created custom 60-second and 90-second music cues for every single menu on the DVD. We totally didn't cheap you out on that. This particular 90-second ambient cue is a good thing to put on a loop in your MP3 player so you'll feel really creeped out all day long.

Main menu video
QuickTime MPEG4, 1.8 MB

"A Creeping Suspicion"
MP3, 1.4 MB

Windows -- Right-click to download
Mac -- Option-click to download

More to come...
